My problem is I Think 2 Much!

I give up on the new HDB flats. There are so terribly small...well, today was the beginning of the balloting exercise for new flats at Bukit Merah, Queenstown, Kallang and Toa Payoh. So during lunch time, Kumar and I went to take a look at the sample 4-room and 5-room flats. My god, there are so damn blady small....no way am I gonna pay $200/300K for a flat so small.

What is the point of having a wonderfully big corridor outside the flat and lovely scenery around the blocks when the flat is like a cave.....I really don't see the logic.....

So its decided that we're gonna get a resale flat.

The JAE exercise has started and I'm tired just working for less than half a day...i wonder how's its gonna be till the end of the week. I know i'm gonna be dead beat on Friday.......And I have news: Serene is not leaving after all. She decided to withdraw her resignation. I don't know why but its for the better. She's a really cool boss!!

I just don't see why some people can't understand that black doesn't mix well with golden blonde hair......when will these blokes learn??

A single rose and a 'Sorry' can do wonders......Don't we ladies just melt when our men give us flowers.....esp after making us angry.....which gal doesn't like flowers....

Kumar and I had a major fight today....boy,it was big and hurting and almost everything turned upside down. But he made things right with his goofy 'Sorry' and the rose.......Kumar...this guy knows how to melt my heart....Now I know why I'm still attracted to this asshole....he's a sweet asshole..... :)

Guess what time I came to work today....7.45 am.....1st time...wow! From constant late-coming to early arrival.....good huh!

And......I did it! I finally did it!!!! I feel so proud of myself!!!!

I managed to resist buying more cloths to be stitched as punjabi suits at JB!!!! Hahahaha!! On Saturday, I went to JB and collected my suits. I had determined the night before that I am not gonna buy any clothes or give any for stitching at JB. And I stuck to it!! Wondeful right!! I didn't even buy anything for myself at all except for food!!!! Isn't this great! But it was really tough. Temptation was high and I had a hard time controlling it but I did it!! Its a first time!!!

Another 1st time: Kumar applied moisturizer for me the moment I asked him. Normally his answer would be 'Later' or 'Another day la'. But yesterday it wasn't. He applied on my arms,hands, legs and even my feet. Even massaged my shoulders for me. He's so good at massages.....oooohhhh....

And also I tasted peanut butter mixed with chocolate flavour for the first time this morning and it was great! Tasty!

Feeling a bit blue today......of course its Monday!

As mentioned, I bought something today. Remember the 'Baby Doll' punjabi suit that I've been wanting to get. I had been checking it a few times when I went to Tekka but I eventually gave up on it because of the price. No way was I gonna spend $35 or more for that suit. But Minah wanted to check it out one last time before we decide to stitch a suit in that design. And so today after work we went Tekka. We went to almost all the shops on top of the Tekka market but in the end Minah didn't buy anything coz nothing caught her attention and the nice ones were expensive and it wasn't worth it to pay that much.

But who ended up buying the 'Baby Doll' suit? Who else but Kethrine who couldn't resist one suit that was tempting her...but its a good buy. Only $30...I like it-orange and white print, very flare, very sweet... :) (Jus that its a bit too long and I look more shorter in it!)

I like the ambience at the Gayathri's restuarant. I think I might celebrate someone's birthday there soon!!

I'll start from the beginning....

Kumar asked me to take half-day on VD. And when I asked him what kinda plans he has, he told me to keep my mouth shut and just take half-day. So I did.

And so my lovely boyfriend came to pick me up at my office and we went to IDAC for him to make a report about his bike accident that happened last year becoz of some insurance matters.I spent about an hour there. After that we went to Queensway shopping centre to deposit money into our savings account and we had McDonalds for lunch there. Then we started to ride to my place. That was when I realised that he had come empty-handed. But I didn't ask him anything. When we went back, we watched TV and more TV.

While watching TV, I was itching to ask him for my present and so I asked:
Me: So, where's my gift?
Kumar: Your gift? I didn't get you anything. Remember when I asked if u want anything for VD, you said no, So I didn't get you anything.
Me: (blur-faced)...oh...ok....(turned to the TV...feeling sad)
Me:(turned back)...Ok, then I give you yours.

So I gave him his and he was impressed. He loved the smell. I got a kiss and a hug in return.

Kumar: Amoy, why u buy so expensive-$39.90. Aiyah, I didn't buy you anything u know. Ok ok, next time we go out, I buy something for you ok. (More hugs...)
Being the very understanding girlfriend, I said ok and smiled but feeling like an ass inside.. After some time, Appu uncle came over just for fun. So my mum, Kumar, Appu uncle and me were chatting. Then.....ding dong.....it was the door bell...."Is Ms Kethrine in?"

I went to open the gate and whatdaya know...he was holding a bear for me!!! From Kumar!

The Bear: Its called 'Sleepin' Bear.Kumar said I'm always sleeping and thus the symbolic bear...

I really was perked up when I got the present but then even if Kumar didn't get me anything, I would have felt sad but my love for him would have never decrease. So what, its just another day. I'm just happy that he spent time with me.

If you are wondering whether we went out anywhere for dinner, we did not. We had pizza at home. I think if it was some other gal, she might have got pissed off for spending the day at home for VD and would have made some fuss but I'm just happy to have my darling by my side!!!

I simply love this guy! Muack! (Even though he's an asshole at times!)

Just came back from night shift.....I'm sleepy but I had to blog this...

A fight broke out outside Cheers yesterday night. Here's the summary: Its seems some Chinese guys beat up A's brother. And A was very very angry and agitated. He was furious and practically boiling. A and his brother entered into Cheers with their shirts bloody and off. They were screaming vulgarities while they were opening the refrigerator. I was very very, I tell you, very very scared! Those 2 guys looked like they might just kill anyone crossing their path. I went to my colleague Kevin who was standing outside who called the police. Then A came to my counter and just slammed a 'e33' down. Lucky thing it didn't break. After paying, he went outside, screaming away!

I took a closer look at him and realised that this was the guy who was I served some time ago. He was calling me 'Sarakku'(indian word for girl) and joking with me. Soon, the police came and tried to calm him down. He was a terror, even screamed at the police officers. After a while, the CD came and did first aid for A's brother. After some time, everything was settled and he came again with his girlfriend to buy some stuff and he was saying, "Don't think I gangster you know. My brother kena beating for nothing,ok" I didn't say anything. Say what!

In case, you were wondering where the culprits were, they were gone. They ran away.

Xin Rui ( another gal doing night shift with me) and I really freaked out!!! I was shaking when the guy slammed the bottle and money on the counter. I thought he might break the bottle on me! Scary I tell you!!!!! We both were damn blady scared out of our wits.

OK, me gonna hit the sack now. Gotta to wake up at abt 1. Me going to my aunt's place at AMK. I always feel so happy when I'm gonna go there. I know that I"ll be eating to my heart's content every visit.....pig out time today!!!!

I don't know what to say.....I am very very very angry with Kumar but I still bought him his Valentine's Day gift after work today together with a card. I'm angry with him but I still buy him something....love....no comments....

Anyway I bought him perfume from Body Shop as already planned. Its called 'Aubre'(something like tat) for men. Only $39.90-save money! Nice and cheap. I like the smell. It was promotional pack and it came with a towel and a hand & body wash of the same scent. Heng, VD shopping is done.

But I'm too pissed to write the card. I think I'll do it tomorrow when I'm more cool. Card must be mushy mushy ma!!!

But then I still haven't got Kumar his VD gift and I don't know when to get it. I'm planning to buy him perfume. Most probably from Body shop. I know its sounds cheapskate but I don't like to spend money on perfume. I'll get something that has a scent I like and is cheap! Then I'll get him the same thing once he finishes it.

I wonder what he's gonna get me....hhhmmmm.....??? Or shall I ask him something....but what to ask him ah?

Remember I was sulking about Serene leaving and the new officer taking over her....well, today Serene sent an e-mail saying that Hock Soon is taking over her duties. He is actually in the Sec One Team.

He's very nice! I worked with him during the Sec One Posting Exercise and he's easy to work with. Heng!! No need to worry anymore. But then Serene also told me that our DD might get someone new and appoint that person for either the Pri One or Sec One position. But till then I'll look on the bright side and pray hard that Hock Soon stays on!

This morning, I saw this cat standing near the lift landing on my floor, I don't know how he got there. But he looked so cute and hungry. So I poured some milk for it and left it near the rubbish chute for it to drink. He looked so pathetic. And he was limping. One of his back legs has been injured. I wonder what happened. It drank my milk.

I opened my door a few times while I was mopping the house to make sure it was drinking the milk Then after a while I heard my neighbour shouting something. I opened the door and saw her husband carrying the cat away. She told me that she was scared of cats and didn't want the cat to come into her house. (She leaves her door open on Sundays).

When Kumar came over, we went down to look for that and we found it. Kumar carried it upstairs and we gave it some more milk and a ball to play with. That cat is sooo cute! Then I called the SPCA so that they can take it and treat its broken leg. It was sad to see it limping away.

I miss that kitty! It was so cute...I should have taken its pic....Anyway Kumar told me that he would bring me to SPCA to see that cat.

Serene just dropped the bombshell...She's leaving MOE and her last day is 3rd March!

Wah lau! She's such a nice boss and she had to leave. She has no blady idea who is replacing her-whether its someone internal or external! Shit man!! Really shitty news!!!

Serene is very easy to work with and very understanding and bo-chup kind. Shiok to work under her but now....I have to worry about the new one taking over her duties. Man, I'm gonna have sleepless nights till I see my new boss.

If he/she is:
-like Serene, then ok..
-not so relax like Serene but a bit ok, maybe like Jumari (he was my first boss at CSC-a bit bochup,won't disturb u as long as you finish his work), still can tahan..

Condoms...I still think that buying condoms in public is really a bit embarassing even though Singapore is getting more open now. I always have a grin when a customer buys a box of condom.....Cheers is now selling this new thing called 'Vibrating Condom' which is quite amusing for almost every customer who happens to catch it standing right on the counter.

Yesterday night, while I was working, there was this couple who bought the condom. The guy was trying to act cool-put the box on the counter and quickly paid the cash while the girl was hiding behind, trying to control her embarassment. They were smart-they waited till there was noone at the counter to make a purchase. And so being a very very curious person, I took one box and opened it. There is only one piece of condom inside with a additional ring that makes the condom vibrate....

Hehehe....so funny...vibrating condom...hehehe...Minah suggested we buy it for our boyfriends for VD....hahaha....I would love to see Kumar's reaction if I present this to him.......hehehe!!

"Is this the medicine for diarrhoea?" (in Malay).....I was almost burst out laughing but I controled myself and answered NO. And Azreen explained what it was.

After he left, Azreen and I burst in laughter....cute old uncle....cannot tahan......hahahahahaha!!!

Big Momma got discharged yesterday. I don't get it-She's still in pain. She can't walk properly, she can't stand properly....what is with the doctors??? They discharge her saying its only a muscle pull....

I don't care but if she's not better within the next 3 days, I'm bringing her back to NUH and screwing the doctors..

I admitted Big Momma into the hospital on Sunday. Been travelling to NUH without enough sleep. Very tired....

Well, she has been sick for some time already. And there's been this pain in her left side of her ribs. And it got worse on Sunday that she couldn't even walk. She was feeling so dizzy. So I called the ambulance and they bought her to NUH.

This was my virgin ambulance ride. Riding the ambulance was shiok. The driver was going at 120/140 km/h. Shiok man!!! I think he was having a good time driving at that speed. I had a great time too, just that I has to grab onto the bar nearby to prevent myself from flying out of the window...hehehe!

Big Momma's blood tests results are not out yet so we do not know what's wrong with her. Need to go to the hospital later. I'm tired! Last year, Its was Spoilt Brat (Alvin) and now Big Momma...sick chickens!

Anyway, Saturday's night shift was great. Didn't do much work. It was my first night shift where I didn't mop the store and there were a lot of cute guys(customers) to ogle at! One told me I look 19....oh my!!! Isn't that so sweet!!
