Kenny's Finally Arrived!!!

Yes, Kumar and I have named the pup 'Kenny' and he's finally with us forever....Both of us were so anxiously waiting for him and finally he arrived...oh my..he's a darling....

Actually Kenny was the name I initially thought of but then I was waiting for Kumar to suggest something and he decided that we'll stick with Kenny and we did...Kenny...Kenny Boy...I like the way it sounds!!!

And yes, having a pup really makes time fly fast. Both of us had such a great time playing with him. He was first exploring the place and then looking around and then he finally started to play around. And he kept urinating on one of Kumar's doormat..hehe..i think he likes that spot....Kumar's gonna have a hard time trying to toilet train him...hehe...

And Kenny loves biting my jeans. Kenny's only a month and a half old and its the teething time and so he'll love to bite stuff and I guess my jeans is one of his first teething toys....

After some serious playing and exploration, he just dozed off near Kumar. He was really cuted coiled up and asleep. I didn't really have the heart to come back but then what to do..I don't live there...sigh.....Kumar just called me and told me that he's up again and playing...hehe...

I really love him a lot. He so cute but I know that he's not gonna stay the same way as he's growing but whatever I'm still gonna love him. Hopefully I can tahan his hyer-activenes.....

And I realise Kumar's kinda of a bad cameraman. Look at the pics he took of me and Kenny. There are so out of focus....either that he was too lazy to zoom in nicely and give a good pic...asshole....

He's gonna be occupied and not bored anymore. I can tell from his face that he is really in love with Kenny...

So this is our family: Kumar, Kethrine and Kenny :)

Time to continue reading 'Jack Russell Terriers for Dummies'....

Now Its the name..

I didn't know preparing for a dog was this tiring...My entire Saturday and Sunday was spent preparing Kumar's house for the pup's arrival.

We installed a gate, did shelves, organised wires, moved furniture....oh boy....I was totally drained....

But I guess its worth it. I guess that little pup is gonna make our lifes more enjoyable.. :)

I just can't wait for the pup to arrive this Friday. Heather (the owner) offered to drop him at Kumar's place. Isn't that sweet of her....either that or she's afraid that Kumar and I might bring him back on the bike...hehe....of course we won't...He's too young to be on a bike...hehe...

Yeah and now there's another search going on...'The Name Search'...Kumar and I still have not decided to what to name the pup....Argh.....this is so difficult!

If I had a choice, I would name him 'SuperMan' or 'Clark Kent'....

Both of us have another 2 more days to find a name.....Any Suggestions anyone??? (Name should start with 'K'....u should know why...hehe...)

The Search has finally ended!

I think I attract butches (male dogs)..ok not all, maybe just two males dog I saw in the past two days. And one of it was totally all over me.....it was disgusting!

On Wednesday, Kumar and I went to this flat in Sembawang where they were selling home breed Jack Russells. There was Papa JR, Mama JR and 2 JR puppies. The puppies were so so super cute!!! And I don't know what got into Papa JR but he was totally all over me. Walking around, sitting on me, jumping on me, licking me and he even licked me on the mouth....it was totally disgusting!

Finally Heather (the owner) put him inside the kitchen and closed the door. That was when I had peace.

The two puppies were extremely cute and Kumar and I had a hard time trying to choose one but eventually we chose one fellow who was constantly bitting my dress and Kumar's jeans and licking my feets clean....

And so the search for the perfect pup has ended and Kumar and I soon gonna be proud parents of Jack Russell born on Sept 11 2005...cool.... He he!!!

And here's the other male dog smitten with me. Romeo, Indra auntie's dog. Yesterday I went over to her place to pass a dress I bought for Monieskhaa. And I don't know what got over Romeo, he was just sitting right beside me and didn't even leave the spot. He also followed me to the gate when I was leaving. Either he missed me a lot coz I didn't go there for a long time or he was just eyeing the goreng pisang I was having in my hand.

Oh, I have a lot of things to prepare for the dog's arrival. Which means my Saturday is totally burned...sigh...

Things keep getting on ma nerves!

Am I not fated to see the Deepavali deco in Little India at night this year? First we were supposed to go last week and now tomorrow's outing is cancelled coz Kavi can't make it!!

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If these peps are not going this Friday, then I only have next week to go.

Its not that I wanna buy anything or what, I just wanna go there and see see look look and get into the Deepavali spirit...ok, maybe that reaction was a bit too much! Hehe!!

This year, I'm not getting any Deepavali suit. I have spent way too much money on clothes and I've decided to wear one of the new sarees I bought this year. Hmm...saree for Deepavali...the last time I wore a saree during Deepavali was 5 years back...hehe...Now I gotta decide what saree to wear...Red and Black or Maroon and White...???

U know, I really feel like like burning my face and balding my head. The way both of them are getting on my nerves is really making me lose my patience. I just trimmed my hair in Sept and I really feel like layering it now. Its just not listening to me!!!!!!

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And my face seems to be rebeling and refusing to look healthy, even though its already looking horrible!!!!!

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm forever complaining about my hair and my face!! Please bear with me!!!

My Workstation at MOE...more like food counter

This is a record - I have spent this whole week coming to work without taking any time-off. Is that painful or what!!I'm still wondering why I didn't take any time off at all.....I guess it was because I didn't have anyone to go out with me! Oh well, coming to work this whole week wasn't very bad. Still can tahan.

Skirty Problem....

I heard this conversation between an Indian mother and daughter in the MRT today.

Mother: I think your skirt is a bit short...
Daughter (in school uniform): Ma, this is considered very long already u know. My friend's one shorter..*Her skirt was already a mini.*
Mother: I still think its short.....*mumbles something and they alight.*

This reminded me of my parents' reaction when I shorten my skirt in Sec 4.

Dad: Is this a school skirt or a mini skirt?
Mum: Your skirt now shorter ah...not bad.....

Surprised at my mum's reaction? My mum's pretty modern....But the girl's skirt was really too short for a Sec sch skirt or am I still in the 90s??? If that skirt was seen on any of my Sec sch girls, they would have been sent home straightaway. Guess times have changed.....

Mad About Dogs!

I went on a dog-sighting excusion on Saturday. First Kumar and I went to SPCA together with Gopi bro to see if there were any dogs that we could adopt. Boy, its was smelly but the dogs were cute. But there wasn't any puppies that Kumar and I got adopt.

Kumar and I planning to get a dog....hehehe.....2 big dogs gonna have a puppy......hehehe....u get it???? ;)

And I am so excited about it!! Its like having a baby!!

After SPCA, Kumar bro, Gopi bro, Kumar and I all went to the Pasir Ris Farm area where there were many puppy and dog farms. It was another stinko place! Boy, the smell was horrible!

But the puppies there were super super super cute!! I just couldn't resist them!! There were many different kind of puppies and my fav would be silky terrier and maltese but when I heard the price. I almost had a heart attack.

Why are puppies so expensive!!!! $700+, $800+...oh me god!!!!! Kumar wants a Jack Rusell coz he has grown one before.....and I heard that its a very very hyper-active dog........I kinda don't really like dogs which are hyper. I like the quiet and tame type. But there are so expensive!!! :(

Kumar and I plan to go dog shopping next week. I just can't wait!!! :)

Here's to better looking skin!!

I bought things again!! But this time it was skincare.

I went to The Body Shop at Holland Village to check out the new Vitamin E skincare range and ended up buying a complete set of its range.

Hehe......Leamathi also bought the same thing. Is it just my luck or what but the person who comes shopping with me ends up buying something similar to what I buy. But it was a really good buy. I got a cleanser, toner, mosituriser and facial scrub for only $48.90. If I had not bought it on the promotional price, I would have easily spent $85.90......phew!!

And I really like the smell of it! And I got a Olive Body Wash free!!

Fridays are so boring! There is nothing interesting to watch on TV at all and today I didn't have any plans to go anywhere. So I decided to come back and tidy up my room a bit. I also rearranged my wardrobe a bit thanks to the new arrival of clothes. I realise that I'm satisfied with the stuff I have to wear. I have enough tops, bottoms, punjabi suits and sarees. So I shouldn't be buying anymore clothes rite....let's just hope that I do not buy anymore clothes.....Please, God Help Me!!

Can the living marry the dead?

I went to see Corpse Bride yesterday at Plaza Singapore and I ended up buying 2 blouses and a pair of earrings. Oh well, like I have mentioned before, I'm incorrigible!!

The movie was ok. Luckily I watched it on a Wednesday and not on a weekend. Paying $9.50 for this movie would have been such a waste. Its just a feel-good movie with good animation. It was a bit funny la. The women were tiny at the waist and big at the bottom. That was comical to see and nothing else.....watch it if you really have nothing to do.

I was busy with preparing some statistics for my AD for the past 3 days and now i'm back to being bored again....oh my.....

I've been waking up late since Tuesday. Either my alarm doesn't ring at 6 or I'm dead sleepy that I don't hear it ring. I always wake up at 6.50 am but I don't rush. Still relax and leave for work. Who cares if I am late now!! Exercise is over and office is so boring......sigh.......

Vasantham Star! Vasantham Star!

Vasantham Star! Vasantham Star!!
I went to see Vasantham Star Finals live yesterday!!! I know I wouldn't have done that if I was in my right mind. I guess my brain was not working when I agreed to Minah asking me to accompany her!!! Shabir happens to be her cousin and so she wanted to show her support. My support was for Devarajan who is a friend.

I decided to put my brains at home and act like crazy and brainless VS-infactuated fans who scream their lungs out when they are stars are on stage!! Yeah, I was screaming my lungs when all 12 of them were singing, just to give support to them la. And thanks to Siti and Minah's super-smart idea of standing up when Shabir was selected for the top 3, we managed to get our faces on TV! How wonderful! Then started the SMS flow..."What u doin on TV?"..."Oei, u so excited for what? Love Shabir too much is it!"

And one of my friends told me that they even saw me dancing!!! Was I??? Man, this is so embarassing!! What to do? I left my brain at home for that evening!

Shabir won!!!! Well, I guess he deserved it! He does have plenty of star quality!! And since he was Minah's cousin, we managed to get into the basement area where the stars were after the show.

Then we started.....snapping pics with those we wanted to, thanks my digi-cam. I guess those peps must have felt like super stars...hehehe....Shabir was really friendly. Humble guy, didn't even have any kind of arrogrance in him! Cute boy!!

With my Star....hehehe.....He's cute isn't he....Deva acutally hugged me when I went to congratulate him....hmm....Kumar should have been there, my face would have been in the 'Obituary Section' today...hehehe......

We even took a pic with the VS Villian when we caught him at the Reception while we were leaving....hehehe.......Pugalenthi!!! U rock man! Hehe...And I saw Sumi there! Girl, u look great!!

But I should say, I did have fun!! Been a long time since I made a fool out of myself. Last time I behaved like this, was at the Vikram Show 2 years back. That was hyper-maniacism!!!

Maybe I should attend more of these kind of shows and make myself famous.......hmmm

Shut Up, Kethrine!!! *Slaps ownself*

"Ouch!"
