Gajini - Surya's really good!

I'm aching all over, thanks to the training day yesterday but it was fun.I really had a good time doing those activities with my group members and also climbing the high rope 'Spiderman Web'. It was cool! Its good to have these kind of physical activities once in a while. We were really shacked by the end of the day but it was worth it.

And the biggest surprise was my group winning the first prize for being the most active group. Interesting huh! One look at all of us, and you would say none of us look the sporty type but hey we won the first prize, which was a hamper of biscuits and chocolates....hehe.....

I watched 'Gajini'!!! I watched in on the first day of release itself!!! This is my first time watching a movie on the release date. The movie was cool and I gotta agree, Surya was really very very handsome on this movie, Boy, he looked good, simply too good. It was really different movie. Worth watching it in the theatre. Maybe I will watch it again.....

My 23rd Hatch Day

I'm 23....I'm already 23...aarghhh....ok ok, I'll just stick to "I'm 23".

My 23rd birthday is going to be over in 2 hours and 10 minutes....wow.....I had a very nice day.....Something simple, nice and peaceful except for the terrible hot weather in the morning and the super heavy rain in the afternoon where I had to spent about 20 minutes under a bridge along BKE

I got wet in a heavy rain last year on my b-day and also this year. But I'm happy that it rained today. When I was young, someone told me that if it rains on your birthday, it means that God is blessing you. Me and my beliefs!!! So when it rained, I looked up and said "Thanks!"

Hehe....Ok, I know I'm wierd! :) Even Kumar thinks so!! Hehe....

I love presents and was getting a bit sad when Kumar kept telling me that he didn't get me a gift coz I told him that I didn't want anything and he was even doing that when we were going to the temple!!! But that little rascal was sneaky and did get me something. He even got me flowers too!!!! And I'm really happy that he spent the whole day with me, even though we didn't even go out!

The guy who skipped meals to get me my presents! Yeah, Kumar was short of cash before my birthday coz his bike had to have some repairs done and also he didn't want to touch out savings and so he skipped dinner on Monday and lunch on Tuesday to get my the cushion and the flowers! I was so touched I cried!! Kumar has to be the love of my life!

The lovely gifts from Kumar:

I really enjoyed my birthday today!!! Thank you to everyone who wished me!!! I love you all!!

Oh, boy, isn't the day gonna soon!! Anyway I have a training day to attend tomorrow. I hate it when they organise these kind of dumb stuff. This means I have to wear a T-shirt and sports shoes and really look a goon! But anywhere I have Clara to accompany me. Both of us are gonna look like goons. I hate wearing T-shirt and sports shoes. I don't look good in them! Argh!!! Do I have a choice!

Ok, Good Nite!! I'm going to bed with a smile!!!

2 more days to ma Hatch Day......Yippee!

Man, its only Monday. Almost didn't make it to work but I managed to pacify myself and go to work thinking abt the leave on Wednesday which happens to be ma HATCH DAY!!!!!!!!

Have u ever seen any other fool like me who is so damn excited about her birthday? I think not, I must be the only goondu like that...hehehe.....what to do...me a bit psycho mah.....hehe....

September is really a special month to me. First coz my birthday's in it, I also started working at MOE in Sep and also my cousin bro Gopi's (20/9) and my Daddy's (22/9) birthdays are also in Sep. Its a birthday month for us...So yesterday at my aunt's place, we celebrated his birthday, he's just a year from touching the big three o - 30!! (Old man!)

See ma bro and me...how he handsome or not? Anyone interested????

Hehe....just joking....he has a prospective bride in India waiting for him....hehehe....Elder sis-in-law from India, now 2nd sis-in-law is also from India......hmmmm........

Hey, see my new top....nice nice??

I've been wanting to decorate my room for a long time so today during lunch, I went to IKEA to get something nice to spice my room and I bought a hanging storage. But I was so busy helping Alvin rearrange his room and move in his new cupboard that I didn't have time for my room. Should get it done by this weekend.

Once its done, pics will be up.

I have another idea of decorating my room and it is slowly being carried out. Once its fully completed, I'll definitely post a pic of it. Be on the look-out! :)

Ok, gonna catch Incredible Tales now!

I ought to be shot dead!!!!

I ought to be shot dead at the rate I'm buying clothes.

I always tell myself to be discipline and not buy anymore clothes but I always defy myself!! I spent $100 on tops yesterday....just tops. How horrible is that!

Just because its my birthday month and I get 20% discount at This Fashion, I went for a so-called '5 mins scan' at the Kranji outlet yesterday and ended up with spending more money than I should. Count in the $30+ blouse I bought at East India Company outlet at JB. This is bad, very bad!!! I really give up on myself!!!!! And now I feel like I should buy a short black skirt!!

I just have to tell myself that I'm giving myself a treat for my birthday this month.....Now what excuse can I give if I buy anything next month....oh yeah......Deepavali!

Talking about my birthday, I'm turning 23 in 6 days time!! Hehehe......I wonder what my boyfriend's gonna get......I just can't for 28 Sep to come....

:) :) :)

The Little Angel!!!!

I'm on course today and tomorrow and I really regret applying for this course. Training courses normally mean....start at 9, talk cork, tea break, play, talk cork, again tea break, more talk cork and go back before 5 pm.
But today's training course was different! A pilot of its series. First thing, it started at 8.30 am, it had a quiz, otherwise known as assessment test, after every topic and the part that pissed me off was....It finished at 5.30 pm!!!! Argh!!! Basket, so angry sial!!!! Again, it start at 8.30 am tomorrow!! @#$%&!!

Anyway Sharmi Girl celebrated he daughter, Monieskhaa's 1st birthday on Saturday. Wow, it was really a big event with a clown entertaining the kids, goodies bags for the kids, grand entrance of the birthday girl, free popcorn station.....I was really impressed. The decorations were splendid! It seems Sharmi Girl did it herself. She's good!!

See the little angel! I wanted to take more pics but the damn batteries died on me!! She was so cute in that but she just refused to smile when I wanted to take pics of her. Naughty cutie!!!

Sharmi Girl showed a video clip abt Moni kutty from birth and there was this pic of me carrying her at last year's Deepavali! That was so sweet of Sharmi Girl!

Ok, time for me to leave for tuition.

The Da Vinci Code

I've read 'The Da Vinci Code' and its great! I just couldn't put down the book without finishing. I know I'm a bit slow in reading the book but I didn't know much about it until Clara and Ganesha were talking about it while we were visiting him in the gym.

That book has popped so many questions into my head. Is it really true? The facts make it so hard to think otherwise, rite?

Well, I can't wait for the movie to be out. Tom Hanks is gonna be in it and I'm sure its gonna be really worth it watching in the theatre and not on pirated VCD...hehe...

Good Nite! *******

Just plain blog vomit....

This blog is gonna be so boring. So those who want something exciting, close the window and go on to another blog.

I simply am very very bored at work!!!!!!!! I want some help!!!!!!! Just last month, I was playing Super Woman and now I am playing Bored and Lazy Bitch....don't mind the bad language.

I have finished my filing, done up with my reports and finished labelling and arranging my files. The only thing I have left to do would be to wait for some asshole to send an email about P1 and reply to you. Till then.......NOTHING!!!!!

U must be wondering what I am complaining about. Well, I'm not the type to bum around for too long. I'll get bored. I need to do some work to keep me going. I can practically fall asleep staring at the dumb PC.

This morning I was being a typical kiasu civil servant and logged to TRAISI (Our Training Log) and applied for 5 courses. Out of which, 3 are free courses, so it being a first-come-first-served thing, I applied for it and am waiting for Serene to approve them. Hopefully I get at least 3 of it! I badly need to go for courses to get those training hours and also waste some time.

Its just 11.30 and I have to drag the day till 5.30 pm. If being at work is boring, being at home is equally boring enough with having only 1 TV to watch. The hall TV is not working and so we are all sharing the TV in the master bedroom. So it will be my bro and me fighting over the TV which I hate to do coz the asshole will start screaming his lungs and spoil my peace of watching the TV.

Maybe I should get the Anniyan VCD from Kumar's place (Kumar bought it for me...isn't he a sweetie!!!!) and watch it in my room today.....hmm...good idea.....

Please if anyone knows of any good website to surf, please let me know. :)

And How Come Nobody Been Giving Me Comments!!!!!!! I know u peps are busy but at least sometimes please.....

Thotti Jaya-Ket's Movie Review

I went to watch Simbhu's new movie 'Thotti Jaya' with Kumar yesterday.

We had dinner at a coffee shop opposite Plaza Theatre. I tell u the gravy for the Indian rojak was so hot. Oh my god, it was tasty. Maybe one of these days, we should tapow the Tulang Soup and whack it at home.

Here's the interesting part: We went to get the tickets and saw this sign at the counter: "AIRCON UNDER MAJOR REPAIR". Oh my how nice! The time was 9.05 pm and the movie was gonna start in 10 mins. The guy at counter told us that there is no air-con but there are fans around. So no choice la, buy tickets and watch the movie la..... But lucky thing, the theatre was not hot. It was ok since we sat beside one of the big fans and the theatre was so empty, Kumar and I can actually have sex in there and nobody would stop us. What do u expect, it was Monday night!

Ok, time for movie review:

Thotti Jaya stars Simbhu and Gopika. It is simply a love story about a hitman and his love with his boss's daughter which he does not know when he falls in love with her. Then the clash between him and his boss starts and who wins in the end is the climax.

The movie started off pretty well and I was expecting Simbhu to do something like what Surya did in 'Nanda' but no, it didn't turn out that way. He was again begin his commercial-self.

The shitty part was, I was waiting a certain song that I liked from that movie. But the song was never played in the movie. @#$$%&*!!!!!!!

Lucky thing the ticket only cost $8. If I paid $10 for it and it was this quality, I would have flipped!!!!!!

So I give this movie: $$ (hey, unique or not...hehehehe.....)

I only like watch selected movies in theatres. Only those that are worthwhile.

Ok, I better get to bed now. I have so much difficulty waking up in the morning!

Bangles...Bangles...Bangles

Saturday was my sis-in-law's bangle ceremony. So I went there on Friday to apply henna for her and also to help out with the preparations. See the lovely designs I drew! I know there aren't very good but I love them! I've not been practising them for a long time but I'm still good!! :)

On Latha's handOn my aunt's hand

I didn't have the time to put for myself on Friday. So on Saturday afternoon, I managed to put on one hand. I looks light in this pic rit but today it was really dark which means I love my darling a lot!!!! I know its funny but Indians believe that if your henna is very red, then u love your husband a lot.

Santha akka, if only u were here, you would have put for me..... :)

The whole thing was nice. My sis-in-law was looking cute with her extra big tummy tucked in her wedding saree. Both of us are of the same height......hehe....cute hor! And I also got some bangles for myself. I love bangles!

I didn't bring a punjabi suit for myself thinking that it was gonna be a small occasion but then everyone was starting to wear punjabi suits so lucky for me,my sis-in-law had a nice suit to wear even though it was a big for me. Good thing that we are both small size...hehehe...

I have uploaded the pics taken on Saturday. Santha akka, see them when you come back ok. It was so incomplete with you!! Miss ya!!!

I feel so tired!! So lazy to go to work tomorrow. Maybe I should take a half-day off this week. At least it will give me some strength to work through this week. :)

Mama's genes or Papa's genes?

I've just flushed down my super heavy lunch which is so irritaing!. I just had my lunch at 1.00 pm and everything went down the drain at 2.30 pm.

Was talking to Gopi bro on the phone just now and he was sayin, "That could have been yesterday's dinner." Hello, I didn't eat dinner last night!!

Ok, my lunch was : a masala thosai, a chappati, a vadai, sambar, a kolkattai and ponggol.

I know, I know....its too much! But I was hungry, tat's all. U know, everybody's been trying to scare me saying that I'm not gonna stay this way forever. I might blow to my mum's size soon.

I would say its not likely coz my dad's on the small side. And I have his genes, thank god for that....which is the reason why I am short and thin. But my mum is fat which makes it a possibility for me to gain the pounds in the near future....hmm.....

So who will emerge victory-my mama's genes or my papa's genes?

Let the battle begin while I start my stuff-a-thon.

The Shorty Fate!

Take a look at the picture below and answer my question.....

Is my younger brother who is 14 years old, 9 years younger than me....taller than me?

I guess many of you are muttering 'Yes' under your breath.......I was wearing heels when this picture was taken. If we are both the same height when I am wearing heels, then when I am at home......does that mean I'm shorter than Alvin......

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Man, I hate this!!!! I've been short and miserable all my life, and to make it worse, my younger brother is growing taller than me. Why? Why? Why? Why was Andrew short?? Why did Krishnammal marry Andrew??In case you don't know, Andrew is my father and Krishnammal is my mother. They are the ultimate reason why I am short........

I've always envied tall girls, not just pretty ones. They don't have to wear very high heels, they don't have to alter their pants...I alter all my pants!!!! I can never find any pants that fit me prefect! Arrrgghh!!! I just wish I was taller!!!!!
