Tsunami
Tsunami.....
A tradegy which has no words to describe. So many lifes lost, so many families broken and brought to the streets. Why? Why did such a thing have to happen now just before New Year? Isn't it the season to be happy?
It really hurts me to see the news nowadays. There are mostly pics of death and sorrow on them. So many people crying over their lost ones and some searching for them with their pics.
Kumar's family is in India and i was so scared abt them till Kumar called them yesterday. They are safe and fine. Thank GOD!!! We ought to be counting our lucky stars that we were not in those affected areas and that Singapore is not among those regionsn likely to be affected.
My ex-maid is from Sri Lanka. When she called me, I enquired about her family. There are safe too but then some of her relatives are missing. One of her cousin stayed with us for a while for vacation. It seems her twin sister is missing....very saddening!

I'm back from Malacca!!
Hello!!!!!!
I'm back from Malacca!!!
I had a great time over there. Most of my cousins had grown up and there were so many children around. I was surrounded by kids everyday. Kinda feel a bit sad that i had to leave so early. Anyway i came back alone today. My dad and my bro are coming back on Thursday.
Going to Malacca was really a shitty thing. Normally we go to the bus stand at Kallang and take a straight bus to Malacca town. But then this time, my pa couldn't get tickets at Singapore and so we had to go to Larkin to get a bus. Shitty la. Had to carry my stupid bag which was damn blady heavy all the way from Singapore to Larkin.
The stay there was great. Went to the pasar malam, visited relatives, shopped at Malacca. Whacked Ramly burger like nobody's business. Everything there is so cheap. I think next year, i'm gonna stay longer. Really miss those kids and their chatter!! Overall i had a great time!!!

Christmas Eve's Eve
Christmas is just around the corner...cool!
Been receiving gifts and chocolates since morning. Its so nice when u are receiving gift! :) I love Christmas!
I'm going to my granny's place at Melaka for Christmas. Its been 3 years since i went there. Just waiting to go, will be leaving with my dad and bro tomorrow morning. Its so exciting to go there la. Can't wait to see my relatives and my cousins...they must have all grown up by now!
Yesterday night, Kumar and I went to Orchard Road to see the Christmas lights. It was so nice!! Orchard Road is the best place to be durin the Christmas season...
I still haven't packed,you know!!! I'm just incorrigible-always a last minute bitch, doing everything in the last minute. Hopefully i don't forget anything when i'm packing...
Yesterday I went to Tiong Bahru Exams Centre again for distributing the PSLE posting results. The Ps, Vps and some HODs who came to collect the results were interesting to look at. There was this HOD who looked exactly like Elvis-rite from the hair to the pants, even the sunglasses. Another one came into the hall looking like a sissy model-he was a VP! A few Discipline masters came dressed like they just woke up-they came in T-shirts and shorts/bermudas! Another VP came dressed very trendly and was decked in jewellery like she was going for some tai-tai dinner party! These people are going to be meeting parents later u know!!!
So interesting!

Another Killing at JB!
Just woke up and having breakfast now.
Friday's CSD year-end party was great! We had loads of fun playing games and bonding around. As usual the food sucked and i didn't win any lucky draws prizez..oh well there's still next year!
Yesterday i went to JB and for what.......To give another 4 sarees to be made into punjabi suits! See la, i'm spending money on clothes again. I'll never change you know!!!
But i'm very happy and you know why...coz i made another killing there. I only spent abt S$33 on each suit. That's super cheap considering the kind of designs that Minah and i gave for each suit. :)
Ok, Its Sunday morning and you know what i have to do.....sweep and mop the house.... :(

My First Christmas Gift!
I got my first Christmas gift today!!!
Clara gave me this Lavender set from Body Shop. She and Angie bought it for me. The package is purple in colour so i guess it must be Lavender. So nice! I simply love Lavender...the smell is so captivating.
I gave her her gift and Angie's gift. I also passed GP's gift to him. GP is short for Ganesha Periasamy or Goondu Panni! Hahahaha!! Hope they all like my gifts!
The Christmas mood is sitting in!!!! Ho ho ho!!!! I love Christmas!! :)
Anyway we have our annual CSD year-end party tonight. The theme is Winter Wonderland and we are supposed to come in either white,red,green, silver or gold. So i wore my white and red punjabi suit. I look good!!! Hehehe!
Hopefully the food tonight is good. MOE functions' buffets are not really very fantastic, sometimes terrible! I wonder what kind of Lucky draw prizes they are today.......would be nice to win something.......last year i got a Electric Kettle.

Sakuntala's Pepper Mutton....Power!
My 4-day course had ended. So sad!!! I'm gonna miss my course mates. They were quite a noisy and friendly bunch. Oh well, all good things have to come to end and work beckons me tomorrow..... :(
Finished another COSEC(Core Skills for Effectiveness and Change) module, have another 3 more to finish. Must try to finish them by next year end....
Anyway i went to Tekka on Tuesday and I went to Sakuntala's for dinner. I missed their 'Pepper Mutton' too much. Had a chappati to go with it. I tell u, the taste was heavenly.....spicy and great! The last time i had was with Madhana in August. I also bought home for Daddy and Alvin. They also said its good. I finished up the leftover mutton the next day, never leave for anybody..hehehe....Simply love the taste...
Where's my Papa with dinner?!!! I'm so hungry.....

Personal Effectiveness-4 days course
I was on course today. Its called 'Personal Effectiveness'. Its a 4-day course. Stretches till Thursday...shiok right! I thought of taking leave on Friday but then it won't be so nice. Anyway we have our CSD Year-end party on Friday. Must attend.
Something i have to mention: There's this Indian uncle in my class who look exactly like my father from the side view!! I'm like....oh my god, everytime i look at him, he reminds me of my dad. Really look exactly like Andrew....u know..hehehehe! I have to see him for another 4 days...
The course was at IPAM Peck Seah and since it was near Amara hotel, I had to go to the craft shop. I bought a 'Home Sweet Home' cross-stitch to do. I'm doing it for Kumar's house. He doesn't know it yet. Hopefully i finish by next week so that i can give it to him before Christmas. It has a picture of a house under the words-Home Sweet Home... so nice!
Anyway Kumar did come over yesterday at abt 7+. We spent the evening watching TV and talking cork. Watched this tamil movie on VCD that really sucked!!
Thoughts:Why is suddenly Kumar so nice to me?Spending more time with me...not that i'm complaining...but then a bit wierd la......hmmm.....
I better get started on my cross-stitch.

Its So Cold...."Brrrr"....
The weather is so cold. Nice weather to sleep but when u r not sleepy,its not a very nice weather to have. Its terribly cold that I've wearing my sweater at home. 'Brrrr'...
Yesterday was very tiring for me. I think getting wet in the rain makes you tired. Well, Kumar wanted to bring the kids to the Farmart yesterday but then it was raining. So we left when the rain stopped. But then while we were walking, it started to rain again. Luckily we had bought umbrellas along. We still got wet a bit.
But then it was quite romantic-me and Kumar in an umbrella walking through the rain...just that the getting my slippers and feet wet got on my nerves! We did have a good time looking at those dogs, fishes and other animals. U know i've been wanting to get a Chihuahua but then Kumar keeps telling me that its a very small dog and i might step on it and kill it.....stupid man!!! But he told me that he might get a dog when we have our own home.
Then we all went over to his place for dinner. We had KFC. We actually wanted to overnight there but my stupid boyfriend had to go clubbing with his friends. We came back at abt 10+ and i slept straightaway.
I'm so bored! I don't know what to do. My bro has already bought the kids back home and I thought Kumar might come over but my stoopid boyfriend is sleeping at home with a hangover....Asshole!!!
Nose feels funny....I don't wanna get sick.....Please!!!

Kiddy Palace..
Yipee!!! Finally its Friday....tomorrow is Saturday..SHIOK!
My nephews Sathi and Magesh came over on Wednesday and I've been behaving like a stupid kid!! Watched 'The Incredibles' about 5 times, played games on the PS1 and catching and running around the house and joking and laughing till i turned pink.....hahahahaha!! Been a long time since i behaved like tat.
Sathi, Magesh, Alvin and I went to temple just now. The temple is always crowded on Fridays. But no choice,had to go. Then we all went to McDonalds for dinner. Guess what, they were selling the 'Jack-Jack' handphone holder and i bought it for all of them.They were so happy!!! How come this one got stock, the 'Jack-Jack' cushion is out of stock??? Funny! Both also cute what!
I know this is stupid but i think i wanna watch 'The Incredibles' again now. The movie very cute la! :)

Christmas shopping
I finished my Christmas shopping today!! :) I bought gifts for Clara, her cousin sis Angie and Ganesha. Just finished wrapping them a while ago. I love those gifts i chose for them. I make a good gift chooser!!
I simply love Christmas!! Its the season of giving-u give and receive presents. All the shopping centre are decorated with Chirstmas trees. Many shops have sales. Almost everything everywhere is cheap.And everyone's in the Christmas mood!!! So nice!!! Hohohoho!!!
And i feel like an Santa Claus when i'm giving out presents to loved ones!! Me very sweet hor!!!

'Jack-Jack' Handphone Holder
I got the 'Jack-Jack' handphone holder from McDonalds yesterday. Lucky me, it was the last piece. Isn't it cute! Awww......I have placed at my office next to my pc. So cute..like me! Hehehehe!!
Just came back an hour ago after having dinner. Kumar, my mum, my bro and I went to have seafood at Keat Hong. The food wasn't that great but ok la. My stomach still feels like bursting....guess i had too much!!! We plan to go to JB to have satay and seafood one of these days.
Satay...just thinking of it makes me drool....

First Singapore Idol=Taufik!
Ok,Finally the Singapore Idol craze has come to an end and Taufik has been crowned as the First Singapore Idol!!!! Congrats to Taufik-he deserves it!!!!
U know what, i worked till 10.30 pm on Monday night!!! That was the longest time I stayed back to work at MOE in my 3 years there!! And yesterday i worked till 7.30 pm. Lucky i can claim off hours...Good!!
Today I took half-day. Went to JB to collect my punjabi suits. Not bad, the tailor did do a good job. I'm quite satisfied. I re-arranged my cupboard and i think no more clothes for another 6 months or so. But that doesn't count a punjabi suit that i wanna buy for New Year. I think i'm gonna get the Baby Doll suit. I didn't get it during Deepavali coz i knew it would be expensive then. The price would have gone down by now. And I also wanna get 2 long skirts from 'This Fashion' and after that, no more shopping for clothes!!

U know what, i worked till 10.30 pm on Monday night!!! That was the longest time I stayed back to work at MOE in my 3 years there!! And yesterday i worked till 7.30 pm. Lucky i can claim off hours...Good!!
Today I took half-day. Went to JB to collect my punjabi suits. Not bad, the tailor did do a good job. I'm quite satisfied. I re-arranged my cupboard and i think no more clothes for another 6 months or so. But that doesn't count a punjabi suit that i wanna buy for New Year. I think i'm gonna get the Baby Doll suit. I didn't get it during Deepavali coz i knew it would be expensive then. The price would have gone down by now. And I also wanna get 2 long skirts from 'This Fashion' and after that, no more shopping for clothes!!
