Botak Alvin!!!
Oh well, work sucks...again!
Elsie and Felicia are not around. Both in a meeting room, don't know what they are doing. Anyway at least i can relax for a while rite.
Yesterday evening went home and had a major shock. My brother had botaked his head!!!!! Boy that was really very surprising!!! Really skinhead u know.

Don't know why he did that but i know that he got into trouble in school for his dyed hair. Who cares about him? Now i very bochup. Am sick and tired of nagging at him. And my mum thinks i hate him coz i always scold him. Of course, he's becoming bad to worse. Never scold then do what!!
Kumar is on 2 days MC. So good!! Guess his flu is not getting any better and the air-con at his camp is not helping him either.So good! Almost made me wanna take MC also but then i decided no to.
U know what-today i called Shin-Ee from Civil Service College-the gal who alised with me for my interview. Asked her about the interview results and she told me that she need to check with her supervisor and then will get back to me. I just couldn't tahan the itch to call her and found out about the job. Anyway better to know an answer than pondering about it. Anyway i'm think i might not get the job. Oh Well!!! What to do-life's like that!!
Life has to go on!! The first half of the year is gonna end tomorrow.My first half of 2004 was not really a very good one. The only thing rememberable in Jan to June 2004 is me meeting Kumar. At least i have something to be happy about in life.
Hope the 2nd half of 2004 is going to be a good one for me!!!

Picnic at Pasir Ris Park
Its a Monday!! What a day!! Life or acutally work sucks! So shitty that i have to face these stupid faces everyday of my life except for Sunday!! GOD help me!
Friday:Kumar was even more sick. He came to my house after work and i rushed home to cook dinner for him. Fed him and then made him sleep for a while. Then he left for since he had to go to a Bedok camp on Saturday.
Saturday: Went for a picnic at Pasir Ris Park after work with my relatives. Great! Had fun playing with my nephews-Sathi & Magesh. Was also fooling around with my cousin bro's friends. Kumar came in the evening just in time for the barbeque. We had a short barbeque and the food was great.Had a great time joking with my bros. Been a long time since i went over to my aunt's place at Ang Mo Kio. I practically used to be there when my mum wasn't around. I think i wanna go there next weekend.
Sunday:Was not so bad. Woke up at 11+. Did the normal household stuff and then slept for abt an hour in the afternoon. I haven't took a nap for ages already. Lucky i had the chance yesterday. I went to the playground to see my ex-maid. Just spent some time talking to her. It is really very nice u know. Sitting at the playground at about 6+ and looking at the kids playing and enjoying the cool breeze. I think i wanna do that often. Really relaxing for the mind.
Then watched 'Goldmember' on HBO. Austin Powers is all about sex, sex and more sex!! But its funny! I like Mini Me. He's damn cute! I really like Austin Powers movie. They are really very funny. Kumar came at about 9+ and we had dinner together. He's still sick and getting on my nerves coz he smells of VICKS!! Really strong smell!
Today i lunched in. Bought ikan bilis sambal from home. It was made by my aunt for the picnic on Saturday. Very spicy and tasty! Bought bread along to eat with it.
Ok, i think i better get back to work now. I have another 5 hours to struggles thru!

My First Laksa!
I know this may sound stupid but i had my first LAKSA yesterday evening as dinner.
I have never eaten Laksa in my life before i felt like trying it so i had it for dinner yesterday. Tastes ok la but then i think the uncle put too much chilli into it coz i had tummy pain at night.
After work,(i left at 3.45 sharp), i went to Kumar's house. He was sick-down with flu. When i opened the door, the TV was still on and this guy was sleeping on the floor. Woke him and made him sleep on the bed and rubbed VICKS for him. Then gave him a flu tablet. Aiyoh like taking care of baby!!! Then he slept and all i did till he woke up at 6, was watch TV. Great way to relax.
Forgot if i mentioned, but now they are showing 'Bewitched' on the Hallmark Channel. I simply love that series. Like Samantha and twitching nose. Sometimes i wish i had powers like her. Nowadays i try to go home early so that i can catch it at 6.30.
Lucky, its Friday so i feel a bit ok. Anyway me going for a picnic tomorrow with my relatives but i don't know why-i don't feel so good. Not a bit excited about it. Maybe its just that i'm feelin a bit after fighting with my mum. Haven't been talking to her properly also. Guess i'm just too fed up with her.
Oh well, whatever!

I have attained Problem Solving Skills!!!
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm back after a very terribly long break!!!
Been on course from 21 June to 23 June-some course on Problem-Solving.Went to the Civil Service College Peck Seah Campus-Tanjong Pagar. Its a terribly old building, even the lifts are very old. The toilets are those squating ones!!So terrible!!
Had a wonderful trainer and had a great time! Learnt a lot of things from this course. Many things that are applicable to my personal and work life. Should thank Felicia for signing me up on this course. Met and made a lot of new friends in these 3 days. Met a couple of CSOs from a school who had attended our CSO Training before.
It was a good break from work!
Well, i think on Friday, Mike Tan from Schools Placement and Scholarships Section had sent an e-mail to all the staff in my Division stating that there are vacancies at his dept-Pupil Placement Assistant and Scholarships Assistant. I was wondering whether i should apply for this position as a Pupil Placement Assistant. I had been thinking about since Friday. And today i had come to the decision of submitting the application. Actually i didn't want to but then something happened this morning that really pushed me to. Anyway Felicia told me just now that she also recommends that i try for the position.
I'm happy as long as i get out of here. As long as i get my alternate Saturdays. Later on i'm gonna send an e-mail to Elsie and Felicia and then e-mail the application to Mike Tan. None has called me regarding the interview i attended last Thursday. I'm itching to call the lady in charge but i rather not.
On Tuesday, after course, i went to FARMART at Lim Chu Kang which is near my place. Kumar and i went there to see dogs as Kumar wants to get one. But then the time we went was not good, most of the shops were closed and most of the animals had been sent for feeding. But i did see a lot of fishes.
Anyway i'll be leaving at 3.45 later since i have to clear my early off.Feeling better about that since i have only about 3 hrs left.

Why my current job sucks
Oh well, working here sucks!
Anyway i took MC yesterday coz i had to go for the interview at Civil Service College. It was for the position of Officer, Room Resources. Don't think so that i'll get the job as i blundered at the interview. Guess i was nervous. Still so nervous after attending so many interviews. But then i hope to get the job. Anyway they told me that if i am shortlisted, i'll be notified within 2 weeks. That would be end of the month. Guess i'll be waiting and waiting!
Today, Felicia called me to her workstation and had a talk with me asking me if i was really interested in working here. And do i see a future in here. She also told me to buck up and be more 'on' on the job. I just nodded for everything. Don't wish to tell her anything.
Why do i hate working:
1)The pay sucks! I'm being paid peanuts for the shit i do here.
2)I hate my current boss and its not easy disgesting the fact that i was being pushed from this manager to that manager. Didn't have a permanent reporting officer. And everytime i join a new manager, there are changes that drive me nuts not that i don't like changes but then its a bit irritating.
3)Elsie, my current boss is a bitch. She's the type who doesn't like to see people free. Must be always doing something. And Felicia, my current supervisor, is very bossy. Gets on my nerves.
4)I want my alternate Saturdays. Now i only get one Saturday off per month.
5)I can't take leave when i want it. Its like i have to beg to take my own leave.
6) My office phone line is tracked because we handle customers and so at times they listen to these conversations to assess us. I don't like that. I hate being tracked.
7)I am not appreciated for what i do.I slog but they do not appreciate that i'm doing it. Even if i work late,to them its part of the job.
I really hope to get another job. Or at least a transfer.

Kumar's Housewarming-Shaggadelic!!!!
Good Morning!Finally back to this shit hole!!
Well, it has been a very tiring break for me. I didn't even get to rest even one day.
Thursday(10/06):
After work, went to Sheng Shiong at Woodlands with Kumar, my mum and my bro and we bought stuff for the house. After that went to IKEA to buy more things. Went back only at about 12.
Friday(11/06):
Went to Giant in the morning and then to Woodlands again to get more stuff, then went to Kumar's house as the electrician and plumber were coming down. We also spent the day fixing the things we bought, arranging the things. Then in the evening, Kumar went to my house to get the bed, wardrobe and dressing table that my mum was giving him. After fixing some stuff, went back at about 11+.
Saturday(12/06):
I woke up early to mop my house. Then Kumar came and we both went to his house to clean the house and mop it. Then we went to tekka to buy prayer things to pray on Sunday.
Sunday(13/06)-HOUSEWARMING!
Woke up at 6.30 and then we both went to the temple to pray and then went to his house. My mum and brother came later and then my mum helped to pray for the house, then she left after lunch as she had to go to work. Kumar's friends came down and they bought the Playstation and were playing. Kumar was also playing. I was really very busy serving his friends food and washing the dishes.
Then both of us took a nap in the afternoon, we both were tired to the core! Shaggadelic!!But then we couldn't sleep properly as his friends who were playing Playstation were making a hell of noise. But they left shortly and then it was just me, my bro and Kumar. We spent the time talking. My father came in the evening and then we all left for home about 9+.
Boy, i tell u, it was really very very very very tiring!!!!!!! I was shagged to the core!!!! Cannot tahan!!!! Then yesterday i came to work but i left half-way taking MC as i was really very tired. Kumar also took half-day and we both went back home(Bukit Merah) to sleep. Today i'm feeling more better thanks to the extra good sleep yesterday afternoon and night.
Felicia and Elsie are not around so i'm gonna take things slow and do my stuff at my own pace.
Anyway i got a call from Civil Service College on Saturday asking my to come for an interview on Wednesday for a post i applied for. I wonder how i am going to go for the interview. Tomorrow there is CSO training and i can't take half-day. I think i need to take time-off. I hope Elsie allows me to.

Disney channel
Its Wednesday! One more day to tahan before i got a short break!
Lunched in today as i bought food from home. Had some leftover curry. Was going through Friendster while eating-its been quite some time since i logged on to do some updates.
Anyway Pam msged me yesterday saying that the finals is on 7th July. I checked the calender and 7th July is a Wednesday-r these bitches nuts!! Why conduct a finals on a Wednesday!!!! Aiyah!!Anyway these women are forever changing the dates! So i got to get my saree and evening wear ready. I also got to buy accesories for that. Aiyoh so many things to prepare for the finals! So troublsome! This will be the last time i'm joining these kind of shit!
I'll start preparing the stuff after i'm done with Kumar's house. Must get done with this big headache first!
Yesterday Kumar didn't come over and i had the TV to myself and i watched 'The King And I' on the Disney channel. I simply love that movie. Its actually a movie taken in the 70s or 80s about a Siam king and a English teacher who comes to teach his children. There is a remake of the movie recently with Chow Yun Fat and Jodie Foster but i still prefer the older one. A nice movie but has a sad ending!
Also had a great time watching the cartoons and also the 'America's Funniest Home Videos' show. Now that they have included in the Children's programme under Cable. Its great!! Last time we had to pay for that channel so i didn't take it.Disney Channel has a lot of nice cartoons and movies-Yipee!
My leg still hurts. Hasn't been ok yet. Also been walking too much in the office.Looking at the scar makes me wanna cry!!Waah!!!!
I must get used not having Kumar at home. I know that once he moves in, he'll not come over as often. Oh well...

Eng Hong's leaving, Sharena's new home and scene at AKIRA
Monday, what a day!
Oh well, what a weekend!
Friday:Had the stupid departmental meeting but then it was worth attending it. My Senior Manager, Tan Eng Hong is leaving. He's got a job at the Exams stat board-SEAB as a Director. Good for him. Kinda of felt a bit sad. He's an ok kind of guy with occasional mood swings. Other than that, think he's a great boss. Gonna miss him!
(When am i gonna leave this place??)
Saturday: Was a very busy day.Work went as normal. Went to Kumar's place after work as the contractor was coming down to fix the faulty lock and some cracks in the ceiling. My mother was giving Kumar one of the double-decker beds in the study room, the dressing table and my brother's wardrobe since we have another one. So after going back, both of us dismantled the stuff and helped my mum to clear up the place.
Then i went to Sharena's housewarming. She's my ITE classmate.She bought a 4-room flat just one bus-stop away from my house which also near her mum's place. Nice place. Good renovation. Then she told me that she actually had a miscarriage last October. She got married in June last year. How sad!! I felt very sad for her. But i told her to keep trying..hehe!Then she told me that our friend, Faezah (who got married in Jan) is 4 months pregnant. Fast ah!!
Sunday:Was the worse!! Woke up at 10.30, took a bath and tat's it-left the house with Kumar to buy things for the house. Didn't even have breakfast. I wanted to eat out but then Kumar wanted to buy the things first. He already had milo so i kept quiet. We then went to the AKIRA warehouse at Jurong that was having a warehouse sale and yesterday was the last day. Then while we were walking, a forklift hit my foot and scrapped it. Shit, it was damn blady painful and i started bleeding a bit and the next thing, i fainted!!! That was really very paise!!! Kumar freaked out!!But somehow i managed to stable myself and we walked to the entrance. Then Kumar went and bought the things while i sat down waiting for him.
It was really very embrassing! Then we went to Giant to buy some more stuff and then we went to the house to keep the things. I was very tired yesterday-really shagged to the core!!!
Today my foot is swollen a bit. But i still came to work as i have to clear the things before i go on off for Friday and Saturday.

My mother was giving Kumar one of the double-decker beds in the study room, the dressing table and my brother's wardrobe since we have another one. So after going back, both of us dismantled the stuff and helped my mum to clear up the place.
Then i went to Sharena's housewarming. She's my ITE classmate.She bought a 4-room flat just one bus-stop away from my house which also near her mum's place. Nice place. Good renovation. Then she told me that she actually had a miscarriage last October. She got married in June last year. How sad!! I felt very sad for her. But i told her to keep trying..hehe!Then she told me that our friend, Faezah (who got married in Jan) is 4 months pregnant. Fast ah!!
Sunday:Was the worse!! Woke up at 10.30, took a bath and tat's it-left the house with Kumar to buy things for the house. Didn't even have breakfast. I wanted to eat out but then Kumar wanted to buy the things first. He already had milo so i kept quiet. We then went to the AKIRA warehouse at Jurong that was having a warehouse sale and yesterday was the last day. Then while we were walking, a forklift hit my foot and scrapped it. Shit, it was damn blady painful and i started bleeding a bit and the next thing, i fainted!!! That was really very paise!!! Kumar freaked out!!But somehow i managed to stable myself and we walked to the entrance. Then Kumar went and bought the things while i sat down waiting for him.
It was really very embrassing! Then we went to Giant to buy some more stuff and then we went to the house to keep the things. I was very tired yesterday-really shagged to the core!!!
Today my foot is swollen a bit. But i still came to work as i have to clear the things before i go on off for Friday and Saturday.

Whoa, Wonderful Rest!
Today is not a very good day! Almost everything went wrong! But for now its fine!
Monday:
Went to IKEA after work to look at furnitures. Wow, so many things are cheap over there and the things are very nice also. When i get my own home, i'm gonna buy things from there. And ya, got my stupid menses at there. Luckily i was wearing a pad and the cramps starting getting on my nerves and i couldn't really enjoying checking out the things.
Wednesday (VESAK DAY):
This was a wonderful day. I had a good rest after a very long time! Woke up at 9 and then mopped the house with my father and then that was it. After that i didn't do anything at all. All i did was just watch TV with Kumar. He had rented a new Tamil movie and we were both watching it. Lunch was Maggi mee(made by Kumar) and it was delicious! Simply love the way he makes it! Dinner was Indian rojak and french fries. I really needed this rest. It was really great staying at home doing nothing. Most of the time, my mum always brings to somebody's house almost every Public Holiday. This time, she and my brother went to Thilaga atthai's house. I didn't tag along. Great!!
I was actually supposed to stay back after work to clear some stuff but Felicia did not come on Tuesday and yesterday she went back on half-day. So i didn't stay back. Her son is very sick. Pity the small boy! But tonight there is the stupid departmental meeting. So stupid. Have to stay back! Shitty!
